Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic, Minister of Education and Science Zarko Obradovic and the president of the Belgrade municipality Zvezdara Milan Popovic visited the construction site of scientific and technological park "Zvezdara" today. The investment is worth 9.7 million euros, designed to support small incubator companies involved in development of ideas and their technological application. The works are performed according to the planned schedule and quality, estimated by officials, and it is envisaged that the park will have shared services, financial, legal, building maintenance, as well as meeting rooms. Parallel with the construction works, the Rule and Regulations of the Park will be defined.

After visiting the site, Djelic added that the infrastructure facility, which will cover 16,000 square meters, will enable the incubator of technology companies, which is at the moment located at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, to move to new premises, but also will ensure return of large numbers of highly skilled personnel who have left the country.

Minister Obradovic said that the essence of the project is to create a base for the development of science in Serbia, but also hire hundreds of people, while the President of the Zvezdara municipality Milan Popovic said that the construction of this park will enhance the quality of life in this Belgrade municipality.
