Construction of a kindergarten in Šid has begun
The Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, Branko Ružić, officially marked the beginning of the construction of a kindergarten in Šid.
The value of the investment is about 131 million RSD, and the completion of the works is scheduled for a year.
The Public Sector Projects Implementation Unit will perform expert supervision over the construction of a facility with an area of about 1,100 square meters.
"With the construction of a new kindergarten in Šid, we continue with our policy of increasing the coverage of children in preschool education and training, which gives direct support to parents, as well as the development and upbringing of their children from an early age. The new kindergarten will enable the existing preschool groups in Šid to be relieved, as well as to provide quality space and excellent conditions for staying and working with the youngest", said Minister Ružić, adding that this is the 12th kindergarten that the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development is building with the support of the World Bank within the "Inclusive Preschool Education" program.
The kindergarten in Šid will provide 140 places for preschool children.
