A public call for the purchase of apartments in 14 municipalities is underway as part of the Regional Housing Program

The Public Sector Projects Implementation Unit Ltd. Belgrade and the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration have announced a public call for submission of bids from natural and legal persons selling apartments for further purchase of publicly owned apartments in 14 municipalities on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. The purchase of apartments is part of the Regional Housing Program and the apartments are intended for previously selected refugee families from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, who have not solved their housing issue to date.

The apartments are purchased on the market through the process of submitting written offers and selecting the most favorable bidders in Sombor, Šabac, Šid, Odžaci, Bor, Bačka Palanka, Zrenjanin, Kikinda, Požarevac, Sremska Mitrovica, Sremski Karlovci, Stara Pazova, Novi Sad and Paraćin.

Public calls are underway, and the deadline for submitting bids for the purchase of apartments for all municipalities is December 31, 2021, with the possibility of extension.

The right to participate is open to all legal and natural persons who sell apartments and meet the requirements of the Public Call.

Public Calls and Bid Forms are published on the website of the "Public Sector Project Management Unit" Ltd. Belgrade in the section Public Calls (https://piu.rs/general.php?category = 31) and the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia (www.kirs.gov.rs).

The Regional Housing Programme (RSP) is a joint multi-year programme of the Republic of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and the Republic of Croatia, which aims to provide durable housing solutions for the most vulnerable refugee families in all four countries.

The Regional Housing Programme is supported by the OSCE, UNHCR and the Council of Europe Development Bank, and is funded by the European Union, which is the largest donor, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Turkey, Luxembourg, Spain, Cyprus, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
