The Public Sector Projects Implementation Unit Ltd. Belgrade has published a public call for submission of bids for the purchase of publicly owned apartments in 13 municipalities on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. The purchase of apartments is part of the Regional Housing Program, while the apartments are intended for refugee families from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, who have not solved their housing issue to date.
Apartments are purchased on the market through the procedure of submitting written offers and selecting the most favorable bidders in Sombor, Šabac, Šid, Odžaci, Bor, Bačka Palanka, Zrenjanin, Kikinda, Požarevac, Sremska Mitrovica, Sremski Karlovci, Stara Pazova and Novi Sad.
Public calls are underway, and the deadline for submitting bids for the purchase of apartments for all municipalities is August 16, 2021.
All legal and natural persons who meet the requirements of the Public Call have the right to participate.
Public calls are published on the website of the "Public Sector Projects Implementation Unit Ltd. Belgrade (https://piu.rs/general.php?category = 31), the Republic Property Directorate of the Republic of Serbia (www.rdi.gov.rs), the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia (www.kirs.gov.rs) and the websites of the municipality/city and local self-government units bordering the mentioned local self-government units.
The Regional Housing Programme (RSP) is a joint multi-year programme of the Republic of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and the Republic of Croatia, which aims to provide durable housing solutions for the most vulnerable refugee families in all four countries.
The Regional Housing Programme is supported by the OSCE, UNHCR and the Council of Europe Development Bank, and is funded by the European Union, which is the largest donor, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Turkey, Luxembourg, Spain, Cyprus, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
