The keys to 15 apartments intended for refugee families from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, who reside in the territory of this city, were ceremoniously handed over in Bor. The apartments were built within the fourth sub-project of the Regional Housing Program in Serbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event in Bor was attended by the Mayor of Bor, Aleksandar Miliki\u0107, the representative of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Nikola Bertolini, the UNHCR representative in Serbia, Stefani Krauze, the Director of the Public Sector Projects Implementation Unit, Du\u0161an Kova\u010devi\u0107, and the Commissioner for Refugees and Migration, Vladimir Cuci\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vucic, and the Government of the Republic of Serbia supported the Regional Housing Program and helped its implementation. They have supported the Public Sector Projects Implementation Unit and the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration, and we have been working together for years to ensure that all the most vulnerable families from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia get equal status and get their own home,\" said the Director of the Public Sector Projects Implementation Unit Ltd. The Regional Housing Programme is a joint multi-year programme of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Croatia, which aims to provide durable housing solutions for the most vulnerable refugee families in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is implemented with the support of the OSCE, UNHCR and the Council of Europe Development Bank, and is financed by the EU, which is also the largest donor, the USA, Germany, Norway, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Turkey, Luxembourg, Spain, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
