First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Branko Ru\u017ei\u0107 opened the reconstructed and upgraded Fifth School of Economics in Rakovica. The event was attended by the President of the Assembly of the City of Belgrade, Nikola Nikodijevi\u0107, the City Secretary for Education and Child Protection, Slavko Gak, the Director of the Public Sector Projects Implementation Unit Ltd. Belgrade, Du\u0161an Kova\u010devi\u0107, and the Director of the School, Milan Kecman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Fifth School of Economics in Rakovica received a new renovated upgraded building of 613 square meters, which houses six IT cabinets and a ceremonial hall, and the adaptation of the existing building was also completed and works on the fa\u00e7ade of the entire building were completed. The project of upgrading the teaching space is very important because 476 students as well as teaching staff will receive expanded capacity and better conditions for work and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The total value of the works is about 639,000 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reconstruction of the Fifth School of Economics in Rakovica is part of the School Modernization Program project, which is promoted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development. As part of the School Modernization Program, the school will also be equipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Public Sector Projects Implementation Unit Ltd. Belgrade, as an implementation unit of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, has so far implemented the adaptation, reconstruction or extension of 142 school buildings in the territory of the Republic of Serbia within the framework of the School Modernization Program project. Work is underway on 9 schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of the project School Modernization Program is to improve the quality of working conditions of students in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, so that all schools have the best possible conditions. more classrooms and cabinets, sports halls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
