A public call for the purchase of apartments in Belgrade is underway as part of the Regional Housing Program

The Public Sector Projects Implementation Unit Ltd. Belgrade has announced a public call for submission of bids for the purchase of publicly owned apartments in the territory of the City of Belgrade. The purchase of apartments is part of the Regional Housing Program, while the apartments are intended for refugee families from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, who have not solved their housing issue to date.

Apartments are purchased on the market through the process of submitting written offers. The purchase price of an apartment-real estate cannot exceed the market value of the real estate per square meter determined by a licensed appraiser for the apartment-real estate, i.e. it cannot be above EUR 1,500.00 without VAT per square meter of real estate according to the middle exchange rate of the NBS on the day of publication of the invitation.

Public calls are underway, and the deadline for submitting bids for the purchase of apartments is February 15, 2023.

All legal and natural persons who meet the requirements of the Public Call have the right to participate.
Public calls have been published on the website of the "Public Sector Projects Implementation Unit" Ltd. Belgrade (www.piu.rs), the Republic Property Directorate of the Republic of Serbia (www.rdi.gov.rs) and the Commissariat for Refugees and Migration of the Republic of Serbia (www.kirs.gov.rs).

The Regional Housing Programme (RSP) is a joint multi-year programme of the Republic of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and the Republic of Croatia, which aims to provide durable housing solutions for the most vulnerable refugee families in all four countries.

The Regional Housing Programme is supported by the OSCE, UNHCR and the Council of Europe Development Bank, and is funded by the European Union, which is the largest donor, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Turkey, Luxembourg, Spain, Cyprus, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
