Vice Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic, State Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Science prof.dr Radivoje Mitrovic, President of the Executive Council of Vojvodina dr Bojan Pajtic and Rector of the University in Novi Sad prof.dr Miroslav Veskovic have symbolically marked the beginning of construction works on the Scientific and Technological park Phase 1 in Novi Sad. Completion of the Phase 1 project is expected in April 2012.

The total area of buildings in the complex scientific and technological park is 22,650 square meters, and investiociona value of works is about 20 million.

Implementation of this project was based on the Protocol and the Agreement on Scientific and technological development of the park was signed by Ministry of Science and Technology Development Fund for capital investment of Vojvodina, Provincial Secretariat for Science and Technology, University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences Novi Sad and PIU “Research and Development“.
