A promotional event that presented the results of the Project Implementation Unit, was held today in Belgrade Youth Cultural Centre. The State Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development prof.dr Radivoje Mitrovic stressed that investment in education and scientific infrastructure since it is catalyzes the economy growth and development of the country.

Vice-President of the European Investment Bank Dario Scannapieco and the Vice-Governor of the Council of Europe Development Bank Mikolai Dowgiliewicz expressed content and satisfaction for the accomplished results, hoping that this trend will continue in the future of the scientific infrastructure investment.

H.E. Ambassador Vincent Degert, Head of the EU Delegation, pointed out that Serbia is the country of Nikola Tesla, Mihajlo Pupin, Milutin Milankovic and that the European Union wants Serbia as a source of talent in innovation, where they stay in Serbia supporting the economy and development of the country.

Presentation of the accomplished PIU results were presented by it's director dr Darko Djukic. The presentation was further visualized by a short documentary video, that will soon be available online.

Exhibition of photographs, depicting five realized infrastructural projects, takes place in Belgrade Youth Cultural Centre in the period Novembre 26-30.
